Kia ora. Nau mai, haere mai, and welcome to Te Atatū Intermediate School.

Our commitment to our students and their families extends to more than an academic promise or programme, although we firmly believe that these are vital. The staff at Te Atatū Intermediate School believe that the development of positive character values and attributes, along with resilience and perseverance in their everyday life are vitally important.

So once again, welcome to our school!

Ngā mihi nui.

Te Ao Māori opportunity for your students in 2020

We currently have a setting which encompasses aspects of Te Ao Māori however in 2020 we will develop more programmes based on tikanga, kawa and te reo. Your child has the opportunity to join either Room 4 or Room 8 next year and be part of our new ‘Authentic learning in Te Ao Hurihuri’ classroom settings. Both teachers are experienced and experts in their field and knowledge of Te Ao Māori me ōna tikanga. Each has worked in either Rumaki Reo or Bilingual education and learning, therefore have the expertise to work with and alongside your tamariki and whānau.
