Kia ora. Nau mai, haere mai, and welcome to Te Atatū Intermediate School.

Our commitment to our students and their families extends to more than an academic promise or programme, although we firmly believe that these are vital. The staff at Te Atatū Intermediate School believe that the development of positive character values and attributes, along with resilience and perseverance in their everyday life are vitally important.

So once again, welcome to our school!

Ngā mihi nui.

At TAI we use software called eTAP to manage all our student administration information. They have recently put out an app for parents, on which they can see information about their child, receive messages, log an absence and more. An email has been sent to all parents containing more detailed information about the app.

Dear parents of year 6 students who are out of zone for Te Atatu Intermediate for 2022.

The final day for out of zone applications was designated by the MoE to be
Wednesday 1 September. However, due to level four lockdown, the Ministry have issued this announcement:
  • If your pre-enrolment period ends during lockdown, and you are not confident that you have all your OOZ applications, your board should set a second date for applications to be received (which should allow you to have your ballot no later than the end of October).
We have fallen into this category and therefore, as a board we have decided to extend our acceptance of ‘out of zone’ enrolments to FRIDAY 1 OCTOBER 2021   (3pm cutoff)
Should the number of applicants exceed the number of places available in 2022, we shall draw a ballot on FRIDAY 8 OCTOBER 2021
We will then follow the same process for notifying parents and the time for which acceptance must be made, any positions not taken up will be offered to the next on the waiting list.
