Te Atatū Intermediate School.

School Motto

Tū Tangata – Stand Tall

Mission Statement

Equipping our students to stand tall, achieving their personal best as life-long learners through the development of character, skills and knowledge.

These two areas are the foundations underlying everything we believe and do in our school on a daily basis!

Our commitment to our students and their families extends to more than an academic promise or programme, although we firmly believe that these are vital. The staff at Te Atatu Intermediate School believe that the development of positive character values and attributes, along with resilience and perseverance in their everyday life are vitally important.

As you read through this website you will see that the school’s philosophy and drive are founded on three key ideas:

“Becoming the best people we can be”,

“Achieving at the highest level possible” and

“Acquiring the skills to become lifelong learners”.

As a school, we strive to support the home and family in all of the aspirations, hopes and dreams parents hold for their children. Alongside our strong commitment to a full academic programme, runs a commitment to a developing the all-round hauora and character of each student, whilst providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment that is conducive to learning. As a staff we also strive to model these values as positive role models.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions about any of our programmes, myself, our staff and Board of Trustees are readily available to you.

So once again, welcome to our school!

Ngā mihi nui.
