Welcome to Te Atatu Intermediate's Website. We're a small co-educational state school situated on the Te Atatu Peninsula in West Auckland. While the details of our programmes can be found on the "What We Do" pages of this website, briefly ... We emphasise the raising of achievement levels of all our students, especially in the very important areas of literacy and numeracy; and the development of thinking, problem-solving, ITC and research skills in classrooms, with students involved in Integrated Studies programmes and the development of character values.
We have a strong sense of energy, purpose and direction based on our school motto “Tu Tangata - Stand Tall”.
